Scott Burr

He earned a BA, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, and he is a CFA charterholder. Scott Burr serves as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager on the Investment Management team at Future Standard, where he is responsible for the firm’s liquid alternative fund offerings.

Prior to joining Future Standard, Mr. Burr was a Principal at Investcorp and a Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Alternative Beta funds and customized solutions business. Previously, he was Head of Algorithmic Strategies at Ramius Alternative Solutions, where he was responsible for the investment research and management of customized solutions for institutional clients. He began his career in the Ramius Fund of Funds Group performing hedge fund manager research.
