Scott Burr

Scott Burr serves as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of FS Multi-Strategy Alternatives Fund, the firm’s liquid alternative fund offering, at Future Standard.

Prior to joining Future Standard, Mr. Burr was a Principal at Investcorp and a Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Alternative Beta funds and customized solutions business. Previously, he was Head of Algorithmic Strategies at Ramius Alternative Solutions, where he was responsible for the investment research and management of customized solutions for institutional clients. He began his career in the Ramius Fund of Funds Group performing hedge fund manager research.

He earned a BA, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, and he is a CFA charterholder.
