PHILADELPHIA – October 22, 2024 – FS Investments, an $82 billion global alternative asset manager, today announced Chris Condelles has been named Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer. In his new role, Mr. Condelles will oversee FS Investments’ corporate strategy and lead its corporate development and M&A activities with a focus on driving growth. He will continue to supervise the firm’s capital markets and business unit management groups and work to expand its Bridge Street CLO platform.

Mr. Condelles joined FS Investments in 2016 as Head of Capital Markets. He has since served the firm in numerous leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of FS Credit REIT. Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Condelles spent over 12 years at Credit Suisse, most recently as Head of U.S. Credit and Financing Solutions, where he managed a multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio as part of overseeing the firm’s Structured Credit Investing, Credit Repo and Credit Asset Financing businesses within the Americas. He was also an Executive Committee member and Global Treasurer of Credit Suisse’s leading Global Credit Products division.
Mr. Condelles received a BS in Financial Economics from Binghamton University and an MBA with dual concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA charterholder.
